Fairytale syndrome. It is a type of personality disorder that causes one to think that one is a character in a fairy tale. Boys and girls who suffer from this condition are kept in the isolation ward known as “paradise”, which specializes in treating it. They each carry out their lives in accordance with the picture books which they carry and abide by like the “Bible”.

Alice chases after the invisible rabbit. Rapunzel lets her long hair down from the window. Gretel, dressed in rags, searches for her older brother. Odette stands by the waterside every night. Gerda tries to escape to seek out Kai.

Rather than characters taken out from the fairy tale, they are instead pressing themselves into these roles. It is a somewhat uncomfortable and painful sight to see. A boy with amnesia unexpectedly entered this stage. He did not know who he was, nor why he was there. Unlike the girls who had their own pretend roles, he had nothing to turn to.
