In the year 2034, a large war had been going on for 4 years. Ever since a military accident near Ayato’s hometown last year, the townspeople had been fleeing the town due to fear of the army and encroaching battle lines. Now only those who are too old to move or had to stay in the town due to connections remained. With most of the students gone, his school was closed down and taken over by the ground self-defense forces as an engineering school for the girls-only #0 squadron of the 2nd ward.
