In the early Heisei era, Takumi Nakama became the manager of a dilapidated apartment building. He had no aspirations, failed his university entrance exams, and lacked the motivation to retake them or find a job. To help him, his parents provided him with an apartment that served as both a residence and workplace, where young wives resided.

There was Akemi Ushio, a tall, lively woman with a bright and straightforward personality, and Shino Kumagai, a lady raised in an affluent family, elegant, and meticulous.

Takumi was teased, scorned, and manipulated by these beautiful yet quirky married women. However, confined to this closed-off space, they gradually crumbled under their respective worries and conflicts.

By their side was the "younger landlord," a naive, inept, clumsy, yet kind-hearted man, oblivious to the ways of the world.
